2025
Tide & Wave began as a vague but exciting idea: build something that could bring together Pilates, travel, and a more expansive kind of movement experience.
At the start, there was no fully defined offer yet, or business name - just a strong instinct that the business could become something meaningful. The long-term vision was always bigger than classes alone.
It was about creating a brand that could eventually grow into retreats, travel, and a deeper sense of connection.
Summary
Jaia Studio worked with Tide & Wave from the earliest idea stage through strategy, branding, and launch planning.
Together, we shaped the business from the ground up, clarifying the direction, building out the foundation, and creating a custom brand that felt adventurous, grounded, and flexible enough to grow with the founder over time.
What began as a loose concept eventually became a full brand system designed to support both the present version of the business and the larger retreat vision behind it.
Challenge
The biggest challenge was that Tide & Wave did not begin with a clear offer.
There was no fully defined business model, no finalized services, and no exact structure for how the brand would first come to life.
What did exist was a founder with a strong feeling for what she wanted to create and a long-term dream of building something that could one day lead to international retreats.
The work had to bridge that gap: taking an early-stage vision and turning it into something clear, tangible, and strong enough to build on.
Solutions
We started by building the business foundation before moving into the visuals.
That meant strategy planning, clarifying the business direction, shaping the early offer, and creating a roadmap the founder could actually grow with.
From there, Jaia Studio developed the full brand system, including the logo suite, colour palette, typography, custom mascot design, brand guidelines, launch assets, and marketing roadmap.
The final result was a brand built not just to look good at launch, but to carry a bigger story forward, from local beginnings to the first international retreat announcement.
