Clarity Counselling is a therapy practice based in Cambridge, Ontario, founded by Tonya. When she came to Jaia Studio, her team had grown and her website no longer reflected the full range of services or the warmth of their approach. Tonya wanted a brand and website that felt professional yet personal — a place where clients could feel both seen and supported.
Summary
We began with a full rebrand: developing a brand strategy, colour palette, typography system, and a set of custom illustrations that reflected the calm and connection at the heart of Tonya’s work. From there, we rebuilt the website from the ground up, improving hierarchy, navigation, and clarity — and introducing the full team and expanded offerings in a way that felt welcoming and grounded.
Challenge
The original website and brand felt disconnected from where Tonya wanted to take the practice. While the foundation was there, the site was difficult to navigate and didn’t clearly showcase the team, updated services, or frequently asked questions. Tonya was ready for a more aligned brand presence — one that could support growth while maintaining the warm, grounded experience her clients value.
Solutions
To reflect Tonya’s vision and values, we created a calm, welcoming brand rooted in symbolism from Galt (Cambridge), including custom patterns inspired by the Grand River and the city’s bridges — metaphors for connection, clarity, and emotional growth. We restructured the website from the ground up, ensuring the navigation was user-friendly and the team, services, and FAQs were easy to access. The final brand system included a soft blue-toned palette, elegant typography, and custom illustrations that brought warmth and professionalism to every touchpoint.
Since the rebrand and website launch in May 2025, Tonya has seen an increase in website traffic due to improved SEO and Google search ranking. Her new brand feels cohesive, elevated, and aligned — and she’s been genuinely excited to share a visual identity that reflects her values and helps clients feel at ease from the very first click.
